Warranty terms

What it covers

For three years from the day of the walk-through, we repair, at our cost, work that failed because of how we built it:

• Settling: an area that sinks more than 3/8 in. under a 10-foot straightedge.
• Pavers that shift or separate because the edge restraint failed.
• Joints that open because the base moved.

What it doesn't cover

• Cracks from impact or from loads the surface wasn't built for.
• Stains from rust, oil, grease, fertilizer or de-icing salts.
• Color change, and the white haze called efflorescence, which come from the paver itself and are covered, if at all, by the manufacturer.
• Movement caused by tree roots, burrowing animals, flooding, or utility or other work done after we leave.
• Weeds, ants and moss in the joints.
• Sealer that wears off.
• Anything changed or repaired by someone else.

How to ask us to look

Call or text the yard office with a photo and the address. We'll look at it in person. If it's covered, we repair it. If it isn't, we'll tell you why and what a repair would cost.

Who it covers

The property owner who signed the estimate. The paver manufacturer's own product warranty is separate, and we can help you file a claim under it.
